It would be naive to assume that the secret societies would be intent on gaining control of US, British and global politics alone. Multi-national corporations are the engines through which capitalist governments exercise policy and drive economies. These entities themselves are also capable of exercising power over those democratically elected governments. If an secretive cabal of conspirators had a target driven agenda then, either knowingly or otherwise, corporations (in addtion to the military industrial complex) would be the engines through which an agenda could be realised.

This film details the history of what is arguably the worlds favourite drug. However, people do not consider it to be a drug since it has been marketed as a food additive since 1983. It is an artificial sweetner known by various brand names such as Nutrasweet, Equal and Spoonful. If it hadn't been rescued by the US neoconservate politician - Donald Rumsfeld - the drug known as aspartylphenylalanine-methyl-ester would have been lost to history due to its worrying pharmacological effects. Early on in its development the drug was found to have an exceptionally sweet taste and now millions of people ingest aspartame everyday in soft drinks and 'low calorie sugar'.
A matter of shameful negligence? Or could this be a simple and effective solution to achieve a secret agenda? The question could be posed — just how incompetent are these people? — competent enough it would seem for them to become the stars of the US presidential administration.
